We make outdoor events unforgettable! We have experienced staff who are passionate about delivering fun and safe activities for all. Come join us and experience the best of nature!

We stand out from the crowd because we firmly believe that an outdoor activity site should be run by experienced staff who have a genuine passion to deliver a memorable, fun and safe event.

All of our staff are;

  • PVG approved
  • Disclosure Scotland checked
  • First Aid Trained 

We work hard to select some of the most enthusiastic and friendly people Aberdeenshire has to offer and train them well! Our staff are encouraged to take part in National Events and tournaments and their achievements include;

  • Captains of semi-professional paintball teams 
  • President of Paintball Society (Robert Gordon University) 
  • Becoming fully qualified Archery GB Instructors. 

To top it all off they are always ready for action and up for a good giggle... whether you fancy playing some bespoke paintball games against them or we ask them to dress up for our annual fundraising event they never fail to impress.

Our Venue

At our custom-built location nestled within stunning native woodlands, you can take part in a thrilling outdoor adventure with friends and family. With our private reception area, you can enjoy a comfortable experience whatever the weather. Come join us for the ultimate experience!

Full Public Liability Insurance

By booking a day with Battle Grounds you are choosing the most experienced site in Aberdeenshire and the only full-time paintball specialist. We are covered by Full Public Liability Insurance and are an accredited member of the UKPSF (the only governing body of paintball in the UK). We pride ourselves on our commitment to continually improve our facilities and equipment and have the highest standards in marker maintenance and upkeep thanks to being the ONLY certified Tippmann Tech Centre in Scotland - we are THE people players turn to for advice about equipment and safety in Scotland which speaks for itself!

Unparalled Safety Record

Rest assured that the only thing more important to us than having a great fun day is having a SAFE one!

We put our 100% safety record down to the following precautions which we take very seriously at Battle Grounds:

  • Custom designed and fully enclosed safe zone
  • Daily safety and maintenance checks of all equipment
  • Use of the latest full face goggles including ear and temple protection
  • Strict site rules prohibiting the removal of goggles outside of the safe zone
  • Strict site rules ensuring markers never enter the safe zone
  • Highly trained staff with a genuine passion for paintball & other activities and your safety as their priority
  • Full pre-game safety brief including demonstrations of pyrotechnics and equipment

To top all this off our site manager and senior marshal constantly update our on-site risk assessments and ensure that each and every one of our staff members on site are fully first aid trained. You couldn’t be in safer hands.
